This intimate and chill R&B ballad is about "self-love". I realized that a lot of us, especially women, have never learnt how to truly love ourselves. Our self-worth has been tied to how much others love us. We strive to achieve impossible beauty standards, hoard material things, generously hand out our time and energy to others just so we can get the approval stamp from society. We were forced to transform from fearless little girls into insecure and timid women. We put on a mask and pretend to be who we were told to be.

Well ladies, it's time to take that mask off and reveal your true selves! You are beautiful as you are, whether or not the world sees it. You are deserving of love, whether or not the world gives it. You are enough, whether or not the world tells you so. That's why you have to love you, so that you don't have to care about what the world thinks. The world has to get used to you, not the other way around. And remember, self-love is the basis of all healthy and loving relationships. So love you for you, today and everyday.
